Q7. How much would patients pay for their images? Analysis
To assess the value that patients place on images, we asked if they would be prepared to pay either $5.00, $10.00 or twenty dollars. We also asked medical staff if they thought their patients would be prepared to pay. Half the patients indicated they would be prepared to pay $5.00, and one in five were prepared to pay $20.00. Also, the majority of GP's and Specialists also considered that their patients would be prepared to pay $5.00 - $10.00. These results attach a lot of power to the value that patients place on operative images.
